Sow 5mm deep direct, or into a tray or Intellipot of Seed Raising Mix. Transplant to final position when the seedling is large enough to handle. Plant 45cm each way and water well.
Best harvested when the centre heads are well formed and just before the flower head opens.
Once spears are cut, new ones will appear in a few weeks.
Seedlings will emerge in 7-14 days.
Harvest 16-20 weeks
Sow in the South Island in Spring, Summer and Autumn.
Sow in the North Island in Summer, Autumn and Winter.
Pack contains approx 500 seeds.
Broccoli plants can become very top heavy so make sure you pack the soil around the base of the plant to make it more stable.
