Pumice is used most commonly in the Nursery industry for striking cuttings and in propagation mixes. It is a light weight material of volcanic origin used to add porosity to growing media as well as improving drainage. This grade 1 pumice has particles ranging in size between 1-4mm

Propagating Pumice is used extensively by commercial growers to improve their soil or mix. It will improve aeration in soils without sacrificing water holding capabilities. Pumice also has excellent drainage, making it quite a unique product. Pumice can be used as a decorative product as well, for example on top of pots.
